Stanyl is a PFAS-free material option that offers excellent wear resistance, very low friction, and outstanding flowability — all in a high-heat-resistant polyamide.
Stanyl is a high-heat nylon that combines three rare properties: “low friction, high wear resistance, and exceptional flowability.” It performs extremely well in components that slide or rub against each other, making it ideal for applications where you want to reduce grease, minimize noise, or extend part lifetime. With global PFAS regulations tightening, Stanyl is also recognized as a strong candidate for PFAS-free tribological materials. Its balance of high strength and light weight makes it especially attractive for next-generation designs.
